Drivers Training Teen Segment 2
Once your Muskegon, Grandville, Ludington, Ravenna, or Kalamazoo student driver has successfully completed all Drivers Training Teen Segment 1 requirements, we’ll help them complete Teen Segment 2, which focuses on recognizing and avoiding dangerous driving behaviors like texting, alcohol, drugs, and more.
Teen SEGMENT 2 REQUIREMENTS
In order to qualify for Teen Segment 2, your teen must have had a Level 1 license for 3 months, and have a minimum of 30 logged driving hours. Two of these hours must have been at night.
This class will be held over three days. Each class involves 2 hours of classroom instruction, with no driving requirements. There will also be a test at the end.
Teen Segment 2 is designed to help students learn to identify risks with a special focus on dangerous driving behaviors, such as texting and driving, alcohol and drugs, and fatigue and emotions.
